Inspired by Art Laboe and The Quiet Storm radio shows, this project is a collection of reworks of early 2000s rnb hits and some newer ones as well.

As my first physical release, this project is an ode to the beginnings of my infatuation with music. During the quarantine, I began reflecting on fond memories of using my parents hybrid boombox/tape machine to record my favorite songs off the radio in elementary school. I spent my days bouncing back and forth between the oldies station (Magic 92.5) and the hip-hop/rnb station (Jammin' Z-90) making mixes with incomplete versions of my favorite songs so I wouldn't have to wait for the DJ to play it again.
